Bus Stop

ON THE BUS

and  cinema  unfolds  before  me
windows and  whirring  surfaces  and  people having 
intimate  conversations  I  shouldn’t  be  listening  to 
behind  headphones  that  play  no  music but  when  
they  doa soundtrack  transforms  the  
places the  people and  classical   plays   while   a   man   sniffs  
from  an  aerosol can   and jazz  plays   while  
teenagers  makeout and  punk plays  while an  old  
woman  stumbles  and  nearly  falls  but  doesn't and  
the  whole  thing is  transitory and  people  get  on  
and  off and  songs  skip and  start and
see  that it's  gone and I  missed  it  next  stop I  
could  just  stay  on  until  the  last  one and ride  it  
back  to  the  start and
